Isopropyl myristate is a polar emollient used in cosmetics where good absorption into the skin is required. It is also used as a solvent in perfumery and in the make-up removal process.
Isopropyl alcohol ester and myristate (vegetable). A non-greasy, low-viscosity hydrating liquid that tolerates a wide pH range, compatible with most surfactants.
Low density viscous, high spreadability. A colorless liquid resembling an oil. No smell or little smell. Insoluble in water, but soluble in silicon and hydrocarbons.
